Sapir, Rotem and Ilana initiated an amazing project intended at raising awareness among children in Beer-Sheva to their rights and to the problem of child abuse. They recruited the support and assistance of the municipality of Beer-Sheva, the ministry of education, ELI – the foundation for child protection and private companies that donated money. The girls held an event for 300 children from all elementary schools in Beer-Sheva that featured a children’s play about child abuse and handed out bracelets engraved with ELI’s emergency number. The girls’ most incredible achievement was that they added to the curriculum of all elementary schools in their city a program about children’s rights, thus effecting over 20,000 children!!!
