Lidor Raicher, Tal Mayblat and Hadas Rechtman aspired to minimize one of the most serious problems of the Tel-Aviv education system – integrating pupils from south of the city in the prestigious uptown high schools. Statistics show that many of the students from the south parts for the city who manage to find their way to the high school located up north, don’t seem to adjust well and drop up of school – due to the major rift between the population in north and south of Tel-Aviv. Lidor, Tal and Hadas decided to start an internship program in which students from the uptown high schools mentor sixth-graders from the south, in order to prepare them towards entering a new junior high school
