The difficult economic status in Israel has created a situation in which many parents have to forfeit on extracurricular activities for their children. While many are prostrated by this, Daniel Zager and Einat Haim chose to act to solve the problem. They consulted with experts, recruited volunteers and recourses and formed “Fun to know”, for children in the first and second grade, who come from difficult economic background. After building a widespread plan, they started to shape the first group from the south parts of Tel-Aviv. They conducted house calls in order the meet the childrens’ families, and enabled them to enjoy free-of-charge extracurricular program, which included trips, visits to the theater and more. After the success of the first cycle, the girls expended “Fun to know” to other parts of Tel-Aviv.
