“Noar Hoshev Mahar” competition is inviting students in 9th-12th grades to describe their vision of Israel in the year 2030. The pupils are welcomed to portray their life in that era through s short story, article or script; by creating a visual arts piece like a painting, poster or sculpture; or by means of a short movie, radio show, newspaper or music video.
The last piece for the 2010 competition was submitted recently, and the works will now be evaluated by professionals and displayed in an exhibit. The authors of the winning pieces will receive awards and honorary certificates.
The “Noar Hoshev Mahar” project was founded in 2002, as a way to assimilate future thinking among teenagers and encourage critical and original view of the world, alongside social involvement and commitment to a creating a better future for the state of Israel. The project is run by Kav Hazinuk, in association with the Ministry of Education and Herzl Museum.
